Comments: The “A & P” yellow tins date from around 1900 and were made by “Ginna & Co.” of New York for the ” Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company”. Both mustard tins proclaim “Take Grandmother’s advice, use A & P spices”.
The “Great American Tea Company” green tins also date from around 1900 and were produced by the “American Can Company” of New York. The tins are for mustard, cloves and pepper; which has a rotating shaker top, and all have a picture of a cockatoo on the rear,
