Comments: This unusual Christmas themed large casket was manufactured in Holland around 1910. The panel on the lid shows eight delightful children dressed in their best party clothes, with Christmas decorations hanging above their heads, Chinese lanterns, holly, mistletoe and a ringing bell. The front and back panels have an angel in flight, helping three winged cherubs construct a holly garland while it is lightly snowing. The two side panels are illustrated with a winged cherub playing the pan pipes while flying through a light snow shower with mistletoe above.
